cocoon is an ecological coffee machine.

The idea behind this concept is to keep boiled coffee warm. Instead of using an energy wasting heating plate, an insulating hollow-ware fulfils this purpose.

Considering this function, cocoon gets its unique twin-spherical design.

The water will be heated via induction in the outer sphere; a pump in the handhold transports the warm water to the filter and finally brewed coffee drips into the inner sphere.

The resulting cavity (where the water was before) between the both spheres
serves now as a natural insulator and keeps the coffee warm.
